A lighthearted moment from the Indiana Fever locker room has gained attention online, with guard Sophie Cunningham at the center of a clip that fans have quickly picked up and shared.

In a recent team promotional video, Cunningham joked about taking items from the Fever locker room, including shampoo, body wash, candles, and face lotion, before landing on the line that sent the moment viral: “They said take one. I took five.”  The clip has been widely shared across social media platforms, with fans highlighting both the humor in her response and the unfiltered way she framed it.

The viral moment also arrives at a time when Sophie Cunningham has become an even bigger part of the Fever conversation. The veteran guard re-signed with Indiana on a one-year deal earlier this month, keeping one of the team’s more vocal and energetic locker room presences in place for the 2026 season.

Sophie Cunningham spent her first six WNBA seasons with the Phoenix Mercury before joining Indiana, and in 2025 she averaged 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting a career-best 43.2 percent from three-point range before a season-ending MCL tear in August.

Her appeal goes beyond the numbers, though. Sophie Cunningham has repeatedly drawn attention for the way she talks about teammates and team culture.

Earlier in the 2025 season, she openly described Indiana’s locker room as a place where the group needed to stay united, and more recently she also had a bit of fun with teammates, including some light teasing directed at Caitlin Clark.

The viral attention also shows how much fans now enjoy seeing little behind-the-scenes moments from the Indiana Fever. Locker room clips, media day bits, and casual player interactions have become part of the regular fan experience beyond just game highlights. These short moments feel more real and unfiltered, which is why they often catch on quickly and spread faster across social media.
